Emilio Daez and Michael Sager: The Supercharged Duo Taking Over Television
Armed with a clear sense of self, purpose, and brotherhood, Pinoy Big Brother’s most iconic duo steps toward the future with the confidence to conquer challenges while looking and feeling their best

A clear bond
Inside the house and after their reality TV show run, young actors Emilio Daez and Michael Sager have made it clear that a strong friendship and a genuine understanding of each other are crucial aspects of navigating life’s unpredictable flow.
Their brotherhood is nothing short of astounding, given that they’ve only known each other for less than a year—in fact, the two had already met briefly at a dinner hosted by VMAN Southeast Asia last December 2024. “The next time we met was already inside the PBB house,” Emilio recalls.
There were several parallels between the two: the first of which being their strong personalities. “I recall being intimidated by him at first,” Michael chuckles. “He was just as loud and outspoken as I was. But when I got to know him more, I realized that we share many values and goals in the industry.”

“We both want to be leading men,” Emilio adds. “And you know how you want to surround yourself with people and friends who share the same goals and interests as you do? That helps you motivate and support each other better. And that was me with Michael.”

Michael also notes how they both embarked on radical changes in their lives, just to chase their passions. “I left Canada for the Philippines to pursue a dream; Emilio shifted from corporate to entertainment,” he notes. That’s how he knew he’d jive well with Emilio, since they’re both guys who upended a set future in their minds, just to achieve a newfound goal.
Even before entering the house, Michael and Emilio willed to themselves that they’ll be as genuine and truthful as they can be inside the house, and that naturally worked in their favor.
“I was thankful that Emilio was very open and trustworthy since the beginning,” Michael admits, especially since he had quite a challenging time adjusting inside the house.
“We looked out for one another. He promised that he’d be honest with me whenever I made mistakes, and I did the same for him.”
It was this keen sense of understanding and strong bond that helped Michael and Emilio tackle their fair share of challenges in the house—weekly tasks, tough moments, nominations, and their eventual eviction.
And though their exit was an emotional one, they kept their held high and had no regrets, knowing that they did their best inside and had each other’s backs all the time.
A clear path forward
Now that they’re both catapulted toward the public eye, Michael and Emilio have now taken on a revamped and supercharged approach to self-care, understanding the power of great image and style in their line of work; albeit, with a few differences.
“I’ve always given a lot of importance to presentation—it’s something that I’ve been taught ever since I was young. Now that I’m in the public eye, I take personal hygiene more seriously,” Emilio shares.
“I actually look forward to the first cold shower in the morning. I wake up, go straight to the shower, reflect a bit, and step out feeling supercharged for the rest of the day.”
Especially with the relentless Philippine heat, Emilio draws confidence and energy from the cool and invigorating feeling of a good bath—one that keeps hair and scalp problems like grease and flakes at bay, so he can keep on performing.
Similarly, Michael also exudes more confidence whenever he looks and feels his best. Though while Emilio looks at proper hygiene as an energy booster, Michael underscores its recharging aspect, especially on his slow days.

“I take my rest days seriously, whether it’s me lounging in bed, playing video games, or going out with family or friends,” Michael notes. “I know I need to recharge well, so that I have more energy for what’s ahead. And yes, this includes long showers, taking my time massaging and fully cleansing my scalp and hair until I feel fully relaxed.” This emphasis on proper rest enables Michael to get supercharged and ready to face newfound challenges every single day.

Though their approaches differ, there is a common denominator in how they achieve these aims, a partner that understands their hair and unique scalp needs so that they feel supercharged and ready to conquer challenges ahead: CLEAR Men.
Michael and Emilio are now rising stars in their own right, navigating newfound fame and the demands of the Philippine entertainment industry with a renewed sense of purpose.
They are thankful for the love that fans have given them as individuals and as a duo, and they are grateful that they found a kindred spirit in each other—a bond that’s just getting stronger and as they move forward.
