Art & Bali 2026 concluded on September 13 at Nuanu Creative City, bringing together 23 galleries and art spaces and more than 300 artists for its second edition. Held across the 44-hectare creative city, the three-day fair placed gallery presentations alongside commissioned installations, performances, and public programs.
Continuing its theme of “Bridging Dichotomies,” the fair explored the intersections between tradition and modernity, nature and technology, and craft and market. Its exhibitors included established institutions, independent spaces, and emerging platforms from Indonesia, Malaysia, Spain, Italy, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States.
Where Art and Fashion Meet
A central part of this year’s program was What The Body Remembers, a flagship exhibition led by Bandana Tewari with Brina Paska as assistant curator. The exhibition brought together 26 designers and makers from India and Indonesia, examining how technique can function as a form of memory through cloth, dye, weave, and gesture.
The program also featured Nuanu Future Talks: FashionFashionThe art and industry of designing, producing, and styling clothing, footwear, accessories, and beauty trends.
