Life in the Fast Lane With Tate Myron
The road ahead looks fast for the Thai-British actor, whose rise is reshaping the image of Southeast Asia’s next leading man

From runway to rising star
Regional growth often starts with finding the right face to represent it.
As brands look beyond their home markets and expand their footprint across Southeast Asia, the focus has shifted toward discovering the next generation of stars—talents whose appeal, influence, and potential naturally embody their values. The pursuit of what comes next is no longer just a trend; it is a strategic imperative. It is this vision that drives IAM Worldwide‘s latest move.
IAM Worldwide has named rising actor Tate Myron as its first Thai Ambassador from the Land of Smiles, reinforcing its commitment to discovering the next generation of Asian stars while advancing its expansion across Southeast Asia.
At just 22, he has emerged as one of Thailand’s most promising young stars, following his breakout performance in Dhevaprom: Jaipisut and a growing presence that extends well beyond acting.
The appointment marks another milestone in Tate’s career as he joins IAM Worldwide’s expanding roster of international ambassadors for 2026, which already includes K-pop act AHOF, with another major global signing—a world No. 1 athlete—to be unveiled next.
For our Boys and Their Toys issue, the timing feels fitting. Every collection tells a story. For some men, it is watches acquired over decades. For others, it is fragrances tied to different chapters of life, cameras that have traveled the world, or cars that symbolize years of hard work. The things people choose to keep often reveal more than the things they choose to buy.
Tate’s answer, however, is unexpectedly simple. “I love photography,” he says. “I guess I collect memories.”
It is a response that says almost everything about the person behind the growing résumé. While his career continues to move forward at remarkable speed, he remains surprisingly interested in preserving the moments in between.
Growing up between cultures
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Tate spent his childhood between London and Hong Kong before eventually making Bangkok home. Living across different cultures gave him an international perspective from an early age, but it also shaped the way he understood identity.

Those experiences would later become invaluable in an industry increasingly looking beyond traditional definitions of what a leading man can be.
Before audiences knew him from acting, Tate was discovered and eventually offered modeling jobs in Bangkok. Comfortable in front of the camera like a natural, he found himself pursuing acting after an unexpected opportunity opened the door to television. It proved to be the turning point of his career.

The momentum has continued ever since. He appeared in the Thai lakorn series Duangjai Dhevaprom in 2024. The series was based on a set of novels of the same name and he took the lead role in Dhevaprom: Jaipisut as Pol. Capt. M.L. Ronnajak Juthathep.
Growing up in a multicultural household meant Tate spent years navigating different languages and cultures. Although born to a Thai mother, he was not fluent in the language when he first moved to Bangkok.

Before acting could become a realistic ambition, he dedicated himself to mastering the language, understanding that authenticity would always matter more than convenience.
“I think everybody who’s mixed race has to deal with not really knowing which identity they are, especially when they’re younger,” he says. “But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to accept both sides.”
Rather than feeling divided between cultures, he has learned to see them as complementary. “You don’t have to be more Thai, and you don’t have to be more English. In my case, I can just be both.”
He laughs while describing his personal goal of becoming “a complete halfie,” but beneath it lies something deeper. Instead of choosing one identity over another, Tate has embraced the idea that both can exist comfortably together.
“People often assume I can’t speak Thai,” he says. “So when I do speak Thai, they’re impressed.”
It is a misconception he has encountered often, but one he approaches with good humor rather than frustration. Every conversation becomes another reminder of how far he has come, both personally and professionally.

He describes himself as “a cocktail” of multi-cultures. From his Thai upbringing, he values kindness and compassion. On his British side, he appreciates directness. Together, they have shaped the way he approaches every set and every new opportunity.
Those values are also what made his partnership with IAM Worldwide feel like a natural progression rather than just an ordinary endorsement deal.
IAM Worldwide’s first Thai Ambassador
Founded just nine years ago, IAM Worldwide has grown into one of the Philippines’ leading health and wellness companies, building its reputation through a portfolio of nutritional supplements and wellness products that continue to attract a growing customer base across the globe.
As IAM Worldwide’s first Brand Ambassador from Thailand, Tate represents an important milestone in the company’s regional expansion while helping connect with a younger generation increasingly interested in health and long-term wellbeing.
His introduction to the brand came through a breakout campaign for the IAM Amazing Organic Barley Gummies. Creatively conceptualized by the agency PUBLICITYASIA, the commercial drew inspiration from the youthful confidence and carefree energy of the 1983 film Risky Business.
While a young Tom Cruise famously transformed an empty mansion into his personal playground, Tate brought that same exuberant spirit to the elegant Presidential Suite of The Manila Hotel, where he danced, performed, and owned every room with effortless charisma.
The cinematic campaign not only introduced him to Filipino audiences but also established him as one of the new faces of IAM Worldwide’s next generation of ambassadors.
The partnership reflects IAM Worldwide’s continued strategy of collaborating with the next generation of Asian talent whose growing influence and broad appeal align with the brand’s expanding regional vision.

Health and wellness have become increasingly important as his schedule has become more demanding. Between long filming days, promotional appearances, and constant travel, self-care has become an exercise in consistency.
“Looking after yourself isn’t just about how you look,” he explains. “It’s about having the energy to work, staying disciplined, and feeling good about yourself every day.”
Instead of dramatic transformations, he believes in steady progress. “You don’t have to make huge changes overnight. Building small, consistent habits over time is what really makes a difference.”
The habits that keep Tate grounded
Away from work, life becomes noticeably quieter. Much of his free time revolves around exercise, watching films, reading about acting, and studying performances from actors he admires.
He also enjoys spending time with friends and family whenever his schedule allows, and he laughs while admitting that owning a dog remains high on his personal wish list.
Bangkok, meanwhile, continues to be his home base.
Having spent much of his life in major cities, he has grown comfortable with their relentless pace. “Bangkok feels so alive,” he explains. “It’s always moving.”
Even after traveling, he finds himself drawn back to the energy of urban life. “I think I belong in the city,” he says with a smile. “I’m definitely not a country boy.”
Tate’s fastest chapter is still to come
It is difficult not to see the parallels. The Boys and Their Toys issue asks what modern men choose to treasure.
Sometimes the answer is tangible: a vintage watch passed down through each generation or a dream car earned after years of hard work. Other times, it is less visible: a well-loved bookshelf or a camera carried everywhere.

For Tate, the collection lives inside thousands of photographs. Each one freezes a passing moment that might otherwise disappear.
Fast cars may frame this story, but speed alone has never defined Tate Myron. What distinguishes him is the balance beneath the acceleration: a multicultural perspective that marks Thailand’s progress and a career built as much on curiosity as ambition.
As one of Thailand’s most promising young actors and IAM Worldwide’s first Youth Ambassador from that country, Tate represents the next generation of Asian stars—young, dynamic, and poised to make an impact far beyond their home market.
Like the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid waiting for him just outside Antonio’s at the PGA showroom in Manila, his future appears built for performance. Unlike the car, though, Tate seems in no hurry to outrun the road ahead. He is content to keep moving forward, collecting memories as carefully as milestones, one remarkable moment at a time.
