Go Go Highball Marks New Phase in Johnnie Walker x Sabrina Carpenter Partnership
Johnnie Walker and Sabrina Carpenter celebrate the next chapter of their partnership with a signature cocktail that became a standout toast across music’s biggest weekend in Los Angeles
A Grammys weekend moment
During music’s biggest weekend in Los Angeles, Johnnie Walker marked the occasion with a series of high-profile activations centered on a signature cocktail created with its global partner, GRAMMY Award-winning artist Sabrina Carpenter.
The world’s number one Scotch whisky brand placed the Johnnie Walker Black Label Go Go Highball at the center of the celebrations, positioning the drink as a defining toast across a weekend of industry events, parties, and performances tied to the annual awards ceremony.
Sabrina, who arrived at the weekend with six nominations at the Grammy Awards, has been a partner of the brand since the collaboration was first announced in the summer of 2025, ahead of her Short n’ Sweet tour.
A cocktail born from collaboration
Since then, the partnership has evolved into a broader cultural campaign linking Johnnie Walker Black Label with contemporary music and nightlife culture. The Go Go Highball, named after a track from her latest album, serves as the artist’s signature cocktail within the collaboration.
“This moment is the perfect celebration of our partnership with Sabrina: raising a Go Go Highball to her progress and the incredible milestones she has achieved as an artist, against the backdrop of music’s biggest weekend.”
The drink itself combines the smoky depth of Johnnie Walker Black Label with fruit-forward notes. The Go Go Highball is made with 30ml of Johnnie Walker Black Label, 90ml of ginger ale, and 30ml of sour cherry juice, served in a chilled highball glass over cubed ice.
It’s built directly in the glass, with the sour cherry juice added last to create a distinctive drizzle effect, and finished with a garnish of two black cherries.
Los Angeles lights up
To mark the occasion, Johnnie Walker staged a series of citywide activations across Los Angeles. Large-scale projections illuminated parts of the skyline with animated visuals of the cocktail, while the brand hosted an exclusive Sabrina Carpenter-inspired event at Max and Helen’s.
The venue was transformed with cherry-themed décor and floral accents that referenced the singer’s playful visual aesthetic.
Inside the industry celebrations
Throughout the weekend, Johnnie Walker also served as the exclusive spirits partner at several major pre- and post-awards celebrations attended by music executives, nominees, and performers.
At these gatherings, the Go Go Highball was positioned as the featured cocktail, circulating through the industry’s most prominent parties tied to the ceremony.
In a playful nod to Sabrina’s sparkling stage persona and the glamour of awards season, Johnnie Walker also introduced a limited-edition crystal-embellished highball clutch bag distributed as a commemorative item for friends of the brand during the weekend’s events.
The next phase
The campaign represents the next phase of the partnership between Johnnie Walker and the singer-songwriter, which the brand sees as part of a broader effort to engage with contemporary cultural figures and bring new audiences into the whisky category.
By aligning its Black Label whisky with one of the music industry’s most visible weekends and a globally recognized pop artist, Johnnie Walker reinforces its presence at the intersection of music, nightlife, and cultural celebration.
The Go Go Highball, introduced through Sabrina’s collaboration with the brand, now serves as both a signature drink and a symbol of that evolving partnership.
