Get to know Man of the World 2025 Juul Missiaen

Masculinity with responsibility

Juul Missiaen is back in the Philippines to fulfill his duties as this year’s Man of the World. The 23-year-old contender claimed the crown last May, besting 26 other global participants who flocked to Manila for a chance at the coveted title. 

Born in Belgium but raised in Spain, Juul studied physical therapy and worked as a personal trainer in his hometown of Málaga. He also dabbled in content creation, curating workouts and doing fitness-themed skits on social media to help people get in shape. On top of this, Juul also works as a real estate agent. 

Prior to Man of the World, Juul had already competed in a local pageant in Spain, taking second place. He actively joined modeling circuits, and he’s walked the runways for designers like Michael Cinco for Dubai Fashion Week.

Having spent almost a month in the Philippines now, Juul has been pursuing modeling opportunities, touring the country as a guest judge for various local pageants, and reaching out to communities aligned with his advocacies. In a previous interview, he shared that he stands by education and youth empowerment, understanding the valuable opportunities that are made possible through proper schooling. 

In line with the aims of the Man of the World pageant, the king recently graced a charity event in Manila to spend time with children from the local community. As shared by the organization’s Instagram account, Juul emphasized in his speech how ‘education is not just a privilege, but a powerful tool for change.’

As Juul proceeds with his activities in the Philippines and beyond, the spotlight is on him and how he will embody the pageant’s mantra of ‘masculinity with responsibility.’
