Allure Philippines Officially Launches In Southeast Asia
The magazine introduces a new era of beauty journalism, created for Filipinas and proudly shaped by them

The global beauty authority goes to Southeast Asia
Trusted for over 30 years as the definitive voice in beauty, Allure breaks new ground in Southeast Asia with the launch of Allure Philippines.
Published under a licensing agreement between MEGA Global Licensing, Inc. and Condé Nast, Allure Philippines aims to deliver expert-backed, inclusive, and forward-thinking content that informs, empowers, and inspires. As its third global edition after Allure US and Allure Korea, Allure Philippines is the brand’s first foray into Southeast Asia, casting the spotlight on the diverse beauty of the region.

Launched at The Peninsula Manila, Allure Philippines gathered the country’s leading beauty and wellness authorities for the debut of the much-awaited maiden issue. Gracing the cover are social media superstar Bretman Rock and style maven Heart Evangelista, Filipino icons who are unapologetically authentic, bold, and fearless.
“Launching the world’s most trusted beauty authority in the Philippines is a deeply personal milestone. When Allure came knocking, I knew exactly what I wanted our edition to be: a mirror, a megaphone, and a movement. Leading Allure Philippines allows me to continue a legacy of expert-backed, inclusive journalism, while redefining what beauty looks like for Filipinos today—giving space to our own stories, our skin tones, our rituals, and our identities,” says Allure Philippines Editor-in-Chief Rissa Mananquil Trillo.

“We’re here to raise the standard, challenge the narrative, and make sure the world sees the richness of Filipino beauty—because we’ve always belonged on the global stage. Allure Philippines is where beauty meets truth, purpose meets power, and where beauty, finally, looks like us.”
By Filipinas, for Filipinas
The pages of Allure Philippines tell stories of authenticity. “The Morena Manual” champions real Filipino beauty, with features on expert-backed tips for morena skin, science-driven insights on melanin, a deep dive into the Filipino nose, and an exploration of beauty standards.

Icons and achievers who have long been the faces of Filipino beauty—Angel Aquino, Iza Calzado, Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez, Mylene Dizon, Wilma Doesnt, Bianca Gonzalez, and Agot Isidro—share personal reflections on embracing their natural features. A manifesto of pride is written as an ode to the women who came before and a message to the next: morena beauty is legacy, identity, and power.
Other sections in the issue include “The Beauty Brief,” which delivers essential cheat sheets for every enthusiast, with stories like the latest painterly techniques in eyeshadow application. It also highlights personalities shaping the industry, including an intimate glimpse into Atty. Leni Robredo’s Naga home and the beauty behind the woman at work.
“Meet the Expert” spotlights trusted industry voices, featuring Filipina cosmetic chemist Joyce de Lemos. “A Balanced Life” highlights stories on talk therapy, the mental strength of athletes on and off the court, and the importance of gut health. “Beyond Beauty” delves into lookism in workplace success, an inclusivity-driven brand that caters to every size and skin tone, and an exploration of how beauty can be a powerful catalyst for change.

“The arrival of Allure in the Philippines is not only a win for beauty journalism—it is a celebration of identity. With this launch, we amplify the diverse voices and features of the Filipino, elevating local beauty to a global standard. Allure Philippines is our commitment to redefining beauty through authenticity, inclusivity, and expert storytelling. This is not just a magazine—it’s a movement,” says Archie G. Carrasco, Chairman and CEO, AGC Power Holdings Corp. and Publisher, Allure Philippines.
Allure Philippines will be published in print thrice a year: the maiden launch, a special wellness edition, and the highly anticipated Allure Best of Beauty issue. It will also be accessible 24/7 through its website and social media platforms.
Allure opens a new chapter in storytelling that is grounded on authenticity, inclusivity, and expertise. The maiden issue invites readers to experience a new kind of journalism, with Filipino beauty set for the world stage.
