A new platform for Asian artists
Last December, a significant milestone for Asian artistry and sustainable design was marked with the launch of Second Issue, a concept store dedicated to featuring the diversity of talent from the region.
The store’s debut was celebrated with an exclusive event at ITO Space in Manila, where VMAN Southeast Asia was invited to immerse ourselves in the stories behind each carefully curated piece.
Second Issue positions itself as a platform that embraces a wide range of artistic expressions while promoting sustainable, thoughtfully crafted products.

The store’s name, inspired by the world of publishing, symbolizes the ongoing evolution of ideas and narratives—a perfect representation of its mission to reintroduce and celebrate the work of Asian brands and creatives.
With a strong focus on intentional design, Second Issue curates a selection of objects and apparel that reflect the cultural richness of Asia.
An intimate gathering
The inaugural collection featured Muunsan, a Thai brand known for its blend of artistry and purpose. Highlighting a shared ethos between the two, this collaboration emphasizes the brand’s creativity and meaning in every piece.
The launch event at ITO Space, renowned for its inviting atmosphere, offered an intimate setting for guests to engage with the Muunsan collection.

Over four meticulously curated sessions, VMAN SEA had the chance to explore handcrafted handbags that exemplified Muunsan’s dedication to exceptional design. Special new designs and exclusive colorways, created in collaboration with Second Issue, further enhanced the allure of the event.
As Second Issue continues to grow, it aims to expand its collection of Asian labels and serve as a community hub for those who value the narratives behind thoughtfully designed products.
The store aspires to cultivate an environment where creativity thrives, and where consumers can connect meaningfully with the stories and artisans behind each piece.
