What makes the new OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise different?
OMEGA expands their Seamaster Aqua collection with ceramic bezels and integrated rubber straps, adding to last year’s steel bracelet models. The new turquoise edition is available in both 38 mm and 41 mm cases.
As a tribute to OMEGA’s rich maritime heritage, each Aqua Terra timepiece features a lacquered turquoise varnish dial with a black gradient, creating colors that shift like sunlight through water. The black hour markers have touches of white that glow a subtle blue in dark conditions.
The watches are framed by a matte black ceramic bezel, making for a striking contrast. The color combination also manifests in the black rubber strap with turquoise stitching—a more comfortable option on the wrist.

The Aqua Terra’s key features remain central to this new expression: a distinctive wave-edged caseback, a screw in crown, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, and water resistance of up to 15 bar (150 m / 500 ft).
Beyond their stunning visuals, the new Aqua Terra timepieces deliver precision and performance. The 41 mm model houses the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8900 with 60 hours of power reserve, while the 38 mm model features the Calibre 8800, offering 55 hours.
The Aqua Terra Turquoise embodies decades of Seamaster innovation. As OMEGA’s longest-running product line, it carries forward a legacy of exploration and timeless style, ready for whatever comes next.

Frequently Asked Questions
The updated OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise differentiates itself by introducing a distinct matte black ceramic bezel and an integrated black rubber strap with turquoise stitching. These updates provide a high-contrast framing that breaks away from the fully polished aesthetic of the previous steel-on-steel variants.
The 41 mm variation houses the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8900, which yields a 60-hour power reserve. Meanwhile, the 38 mm variant is driven by the Calibre 8800, providing 55 hours of autonomous power. Both calibres carry official METAS certification for resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
The dial incorporates a lacquered turquoise varnish treating that features a dark black gradient around the perimeter. This specific gradient effect darkens as it nears the matte bezel, replicating the optical transition of sunlight traveling down through different depths of seawater.
The collection provides a standard water resistance rating of 15 bar, which corresponds to a depth of 150 meters or 500 feet. The watch relies on functional architectural elements to safeguard the movement, including a screw-in crown, a wave-edged sapphire crystal display caseback, and a domed sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides.
The black-bordered hour markers and arrow hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova inserts. When exposed to low-light environments, this material glows a crisp, legible blue color, ensuring optimal legibility while maintaining the maritime design theme.
