Highlighting Cambodia’s contemporary fashion
Phnom Penh Designers Week 2026 is turning its attention toward the future of Cambodian fashion. Returning for its 21st edition on June 5 and 6, the annual showcase will once again transform Rosewood Phnom Penh into a meeting point for fashion and culture, this year under the theme Artistic Freedom.
While the first evening will feature womenswear presentations from Cambodian designers including Phoung by S, Semurian, LYNY&PO, A.N.D, and Eric Raisina, the second night’s menswear showcase signals a larger conversation happening across Southeast Asian fashion right now.
“Rosewood Phnom Penh is more than a destination of hospitality. It’s a gathering place for creativity and culture in the heart of the city, and we are proud to be able to provide a platform where artistic freedom can be expressed and experienced, while continuing to support and inspire the city’s evolving creative community.”
Cambodian menswear takes center stage
The menswear presentations on June 6 will feature Ambre Men, Don Protasio, Drewe Taylor Designs, and PUTHY VONG, four labels approaching modern masculinity from entirely different perspectives.
Ambre Men
Ambre Men, the menswear division of Cambodian fashion house Ambre, will present a collection that blends prints and tailoring with a polished international sensibility.
The brand has become known for balancing Cambodian heritage with contemporary menswear, creating pieces that feel equally rooted in local identity and global fashion culture. In many ways, the label portrays how Southeast Asian menswear is becoming increasingly confident in color and self-expression.
Don Protasio
As Co-founder and Creative Director of Phnom Penh Designers Week, Don Protasio remains one of the key figures shaping Cambodia’s contemporary fashion scene.
His signature “functional chic” aesthetic combines utility and urban dressing with streamlined tailoring. Rather than treating fashion purely as spectacle, Don’s work often focuses on movement and practicality, designed for modern city life while maintaining a sharp visual identity.
Drewe Taylor
Among the most visually dynamic labels in the lineup is Drewe Taylor Designs, which combines punk-inspired aesthetics with Khmer cultural references and contemporary streetwear. Streetwear’s influence remains visible, but Cambodian identity stays central to the brand’s creative direction.
Puthy Vong
Puthy Vong approaches menswear from a more conceptual perspective, focusing on clean construction, minimalism, and gender-inclusive tailoring. As conversations around identity continue evolving within the fashion industry, designers like Puthy are helping define what contemporary menswear can look like in Cambodia and beyond.
Phnom Penh Designers Week 2026 will take place on June 5 and 6, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Salon 1, Level 36, Rosewood Phnom Penh. The showcase is invitation-only.
