Check Out These Malaysian Menswear Brands Making Raya a Stylish Occasion
These designers are taking modest menswear to the future, inspired by tradition to create contemporary looks

Where style meets tradition
The end of Ramadan is a time of prayer, thanksgiving, and celebration—and people dress up to match the festive spirit of the season.
Throughout the years, many brands have come out with special collections for Raya, favoring more vibrant colors, intricate patterns, modern motifs, and contemporary silhouettes while observing tradition.
Below are five designers, handpicked by VMAN Southeast Asia’s creative consultant Mughni Che Din, who are leading the way in reimagining menswear for Raya—and for any occasion, really—in Malaysia.
BEHATI
Behati describes their clothing as “traditional futurewear,” with the mission to “move culture forward” with their designs. For Raya 2025, the brand offers a variety of colors, styles, and silhouettes—check out the Baju Melayu Suci in a luxe brown color, also available in a variety of earth-inspired hues; or the Baju Atas Songket, making use of traditional metallic fabric (songket) and a Teluk Belanga neckline.
FIZIWOO
Established in 2011, Fiziwoo is a luxury Malaysian fashion brand founded by designer Hafizi Radzi Woo. His Raya designs combine classic designs with modern refinement—think cekak musang stand collars with matching color buttons for a sleek finish; or a sampin with Velcro fastening for a good fit, embroidered with the Fiziwoo monogram for a signature touch.
KIT WOO

KIT WOO’s Raya ’25 collection is all about contemporary tailoring combined with tradition. The fluid yet commanding movements of silat, a class of martial arts native to the Nusantara region, are expressed in avant-garde silhouettes: clean lines, sculptural draping, and dynamic layering.
LUBNA
Established in 2016, LUBNA combines European trends with Middle Eastern motifs, creating everyday garments for those looking for a classic yet modern twist on modest wear. Available in a variety of vivid colors and patterns, LUBNA’s choices for Raya go beyond the festivities and can be easily incorporated into your daily wardrobe.
ANAABU

For the Eid season, ANAABU’s Kongsi Masa features clothes made with thoughtfully sourced fabric, embroidered with unique patterns inspired by tradition. Spread across two drops, the collection is inspired by themes of unity and the passage of time, expressed through celestial-inspired garments.
A standout piece is the Galah Buttoned Shirt above, a classic cotton button-down with a straight-cut silhouette. The brand notes that it is inspired by the spirit of “galah”—seizing opportunities and making the most of each moment.
