Dating formats are taking an inventive turn with Mediacorp’s newest regional reality series, WINGMAN. Hosted by Mediacorp 987’s Germaine Tan, the show places eight singles inside a private villa alongside their real-life best friends.
Rather than observing quietly, wingmen hold active stakes in every romantic connection. They compete in challenges and negotiate dates, vying for a combined SGD $30,000 cash pool awarded to the winning couple and wingman.
Beyond cash rewards, the experiment tests if genuine chemistry can survive high-pressure social game theory. By involving trusted friends directly, the series flips conventional dating conventions on their head.
A cross-cultural cast testing chemistry and friendship
The series highlights diverse regional talent spanning creative, corporate, and entertainment worlds. The singles lineup includes Thai actress Frayya, pageant queen Cheryl, auditor Olivia, tech professional Gigi, coach Sam, actors Marco and L.A., and free spirit Tyler.

WINGMAN premieres Thursday, September 10, 2026, launching four episodes on mewatch and Mediacorp Entertainment’s YouTube channel. Two new episodes drop weekly every Thursday until the finale on October 8.
