Eddie Redmayne Sports a Classic Timepiece For a Swiss Golfing Celebration

Longtime OMEGA ambassador Eddie Redmayne graced one of the brand’s yearly sporting highlights in sophisticated style, choosing a Seamaster Railmaster in stainless steel as his timepiece of choice.
Originally designed in 1957 for professionals working on railways and areas with powerful electrical fields, the Seamaster Railmaster is known for its legible display and strong anti-magnetic properties. Eddie wore two variants: on the field, he sported a Railmaster with a golden brown leather strap, a beige dial with a black gradient, and a Small Seconds display at 6 o’clock. At the gala night, he went with a stainless steel bracelet and a black dial.
The English actor was chosen as the special guest of the OMEGA Masters Golf Tournament’s exclusive gala night, held at L’Arnouva. Situated far above the golfing greens of Crans-Montana, the region is a popular destination for skiers and hikers, offering sensational views all year round. Guests were transported via cable car to the evening’s celebration, which marked OMEGA’s 24th year as the title sponsor of the OMEGA Masters.
Originally called the Swiss Open when it was first played in 1923, the high-altitude competition has remained at the same venue since 1939, making it the oldest golf tournament in Europe to be played on the same course every year. OMEGA claimed the naming rights in 2001.
