The VMAN SEA Model Search 2026 moves into its next stage with the launch of its Live Casting Call, inviting aspiring and professional talent alike to take their shot in person.
Building on the nationwide search, Phase 2 expands the opportunity beyond digital submissions by welcoming participants to a physical casting call. Selected finalists will advance to the next stage of the competition and move one step closer to becoming the next face of VMAN SEA.
Campaign period
- Submission period: June 30 to August 7, 2026
- Submission deadline: August 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM
- Confirmation period: Qualified applicants will expect to receive an email confirmation from VMAN SEA regarding the next steps of the casting process within August 10 to 14, 2026.

Who can join
The VMAN SEA Model Search 2026 is open to:
- Male individuals aged 18 years old and above
- Signed models and unsigned individuals are welcome
- Aspiring models with no prior professional experience
- Professional and working models
- Models represented by agencies under non-exclusive contracts
- Models with Asian heritage
Who may not join
The following individuals are not eligible to participate:
- Individuals below 18 years old
- Models bound by exclusive contracts that prohibit participation in third-party competitions, castings, or editorial opportunities
- Anyone unable to comply with the VMAN Model Search schedule and requirements
What you stand to gain
The VMAN SEA Model Search is more than a casting call. It is an opportunity to become part of the VMAN Southeast Asia talent network and gain access to editorial and commercial opportunities.
All participants who attend the physical casting will receive professionally photographed VMAN Southeast Asia set cards for their portfolio.
Candidates selected by the VMAN SEA editorial team will also have the opportunity to:
- Be featured on a VMAN Southeast Asia digital cover, with multiple talents chosen for the editorial feature.
- Be considered as VMAN Southeast Asia in-house talents, opening opportunities for future editorial features, commercial bookings, brand partnerships, and creative projects through the VMAN SEA network.
Selection for the digital cover, in-house talent opportunities, and future editorial and commercial bookings remains at the discretion of the VMAN Southeast Asia team.
What to expect
1. Registration and verification
Each participant will undergo a standard set of evaluation photos, including:
- Basic headshot
- Full-body photo
- Left and right profile shot
Candidates are encouraged to arrive in clean, fitted attire that allows the judges to properly assess their physique and proportions.
2. Personal interview
Each candidate will participate in a brief interview with the judging panel. Discussions may cover:
- Personal background
- Career aspirations
- Personal style and interests
3. Content and media capture
Selected moments throughout the casting day may be documented for use across VMAN Southeast Asia’s editorial, digital, and social media platforms.
Candidate guidelines
To ensure a smooth casting experience, participants are advised to:
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled call time
- Wear a fitted white T-shirt and blue jeans
- Avoid excessive accessories and heavy styling
- Bring a valid ID and any required confirmation documents
- Maintain professional and respectful conduct throughout the casting process
