Spectacular style
The city’s fashion cognoscenti and style mavens converged under one roof at the VMAN Southeast Asia launch party in Manila on November 28, creating an electrifying atmosphere that pulsed with avant-garde energy.
The historic evening, marking the debut of Southeast Asia’s first regional men’s fashion publication, transformed into a living runway where attendees embodied the zeitgeist of contemporary fashion. The crowd was a mesmerizing tableau of bold sartorial choices: sleek, dominatrix-inspired ensembles in supple leather dominated the scene, while eyewear added an edge of tomorrow to every look.
The “blade cut” trend made a daring statement, with shirts and tops strategically slashed to reveal tantalizing glimpses of skin across the chest. Scattered throughout the venue were strategic splashes of crimson—from subtle red accessories to statement scarlet pieces—punctuating the predominantly noir palette with dramatic flair.
The evening also unveiled a new chapter in tailoring, as guests embraced oversized, fluid silhouettes that challenged traditional proportions, creating a beautiful tension between structure and flow.
