Runway meets racetrack
On a humid August afternoon, PENSHOPPE came roaring back to Cebu. The Philippine fashion powerhouse launched its latest campaign, Full Speed Ahead, at SM Cebu, marking not only a mid-year showcase of trend-forward pieces but also a homecoming for a brand that began here.
The event was more than a product launch. SM Cebu’s central atrium transformed into a high-energy arena, part racetrack pit stop and part runway spectacle, where checkered flags met sleek metallic finishes and spotlights cut through the crowd like headlights on a night road. The visual language matched the campaign’s ethos: momentum, self-expression, and the determination to “accelerate toward your dreams.”
Fronting the campaign are Club PENSHOPPE endorsers James Reid and Brent Manalo, both embodying the brand’s message of authenticity and community. James, long celebrated for his effortless cool and genre-blurring creativity, joined Brent, whose understated charm and relatability have made him a rising style figure. Their presence alone drew a crowd thick enough to make the mall hum with anticipation.

Icons for the new era

“We’re thrilled to have both James Reid and Brent Manalo as part of Club PENSHOPPE,” said Donnie Manaloto, the brand’s communications head. “They’re style icons in their own right, effortlessly cool, fashion-forward, and genuinely in tune with what’s current. Having them represent the brand reaffirms PENSHOPPE as a top-of-mind destination for trendy and affordable style.”
The program unfolded like a festival, balancing performance with engagement. Fans queued for meet-and-greets and posed at immersive photo setups designed to be shared online. The brand’s latest racing-inspired collection, featuring streamlined silhouettes, bold color-blocking, and kinetic graphics, was on display not only on racks but also on the bodies of guests and staff, turning the venue into a moving lookbook.
Event highlights included an exclusive mid-year sale, raffle prizes, and special perks for members of Club PENSHOPPE, the brand’s app-based rewards community. Members enjoyed early access to new arrivals and exclusive event invitations, a digital extension of the brand’s growing physical presence. James closed the day with a live performance that drew cheers loud enough to ripple across the atrium.
A brand on the move
More than a marketing push, Full Speed Ahead signals PENSHOPPE’s intent to stay at the forefront of Filipino fashion while deepening its connection to the communities it serves. With roots in Cebu and a steadily growing global presence, the brand has made inclusivity, affordability, and contemporary style central to its identity.
Through campaigns like this, PENSHOPPE shows that fashion, for them, goes beyond dressing the body and also fuels the spirit, reminding audiences that momentum is not always a matter of moving away from something. Sometimes it means returning to where you began, only faster and dressed sharper than before. And on this August afternoon in Cebu, with music in the air and a sea of phones lifted to capture it all, PENSHOPPE brought that philosophy to life.
