What makes the partnership between Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One™ Team special
It was an evening of curated combinations and seamless pairings at the second VMAN Vanguards Club that celebrated the partnership between Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky, and the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team.
For one night only at the exclusive PVT Members Lounge, the VMAN Vanguards Club played host to Club 1959, an exclusive experience and the unveiling of the limited edition Glenfiddich 16 Year Old, specifically created for the collaboration between the two iconic brands. Leading the evening was Jyri Pylkkänen, Southeast Asia Brand Ambassador for Glenfiddich.
Jyri opened the evening’s celebration with a quick cocktail masterclass before proceeding with the whisky and food pairings for the night. Complementing the warm and spicy notes of the Glenfiddich 15 Year Old were braised beef cheeks with potato purée, seasonal vegetables, and red wine sauce. Meanwhile, a caramel custard topped with salted caramel, vanilla whipped cream, and pistachio heightened the sweet and fruity taste of the Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One™ Team 16 Year Old Limited Edition. The dinner concluded with a swig of the Glenfiddich 18 Year Old, finishing with an oak, apple, and cinnamon flavors.
Jyri also highlighted his personal favorite: the 1959 Spritz, a signature cocktail combining the Glenfiddich 15 Year Old pear liqueur, simple syrup, bitters, and soda water, created specifically for the collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team.
“Both brands have a rich heritage, fine craftsmanship, a pioneering spirit, and a sense of modern innovation,” he adds.
“Through this collaboration, we invite enthusiasts worldwide to engage with these iconic brands in bold new ways and create memorable moments that reach far beyond the racetrack. This limited-edition bottling is just the beginning as we continue to write the next chapter together.”
