Since its inception in 2011, AMI has been a beacon of understated elegance and authenticity, embodying founder Alexandre Mattiussi’s vision of creating clothes for real people.
The Fall/Winter 2025 collection is no exception—a heartfelt ode to Paris and the reality of the lives it holds.
The show unfolded as a love letter to Paris, with its soft daylight-inspired lighting and rustic ambiance immediately setting a romantic tone. In the first act, a soulful saxophone solo filled the air, drawing the audience into the collection’s world.
The opening look—a pristine all-white suit accessorized with a triangle scarf crafted from the same fabric—perfectly encapsulated AMI’s signature effortless elegance. A harmonious palette of whites, browns, greens, grays, and blacks was subtly elevated by muted golds, rose, and blues, flowing through an array of suits, silk dresses, skirts, and vests.

Parisian chic for real lives
Throughout the show, every detail whispered Parisian chic. It was a collection designed to make its wearer feel luxurious, no matter the occasion.
“These people are real people. They’re running to take the kids back from school. They’re running because they are late to an appointment. They’re running to get home after, you know, a little sex affair. So it’s a reality. There is a chicness in it, but it’s not pretentious.”
This ethos has been at the heart of AMI since day one: creating elegant yet approachable fashion. “I just want it to look very elegant and to be very respectful of people who are coming to the store and who are going to buy something. I want to give them an honest product, at a very good price,” Alexandre reiterated.
With this collection, the designer has delivered exactly that. It’s an ode to real lives and the beauty found in everyday moments, all while maintaining the allure of Parisian sophistication.
