Manila Gets Its First Alo Yoga Store—And BTS’ Jin Has Something to Say
Alo Yoga is coming to Manila, and with its sculpting activewear and Jin’s self-love era, wellness has never looked better

Some things just feel inevitable. Like the way everyone suddenly became obsessed with green smoothies or how pilates went from niche to mainstream.
Now, Alo Yoga is making its way to Manila, and honestly, it makes sense. The cult-favorite brand, known for its sleek activewear and wellness aesthetic, is setting up shop in the Philippines by mid-2025.
Alo—short for ‘Air, Land, Ocean’—is a brand focused on yoga gear, and it brings with it a lifestyle that inspires people to journal in the morning, go for a walk after dinner, and wear matching sets just because.
And let’s be real—when you live in a region where it feels like summer 90% of the year, the clothes you wear need to keep up. Light, breathable, and stylish, Alo’s pieces are made for moving, sweating, and staying cool.
Whether you actually do yoga or just like the idea of it, Alo has probably been on your radar for a while.
The self-love era
Working out in the tropics is a different kind of commitment. You want to feel good, look good, and not be drenched in sweat before you even start.
Alo’s signature fabrics—airy, sweat-wicking, and just compressive enough—are designed for this exact scenario.
The sets are sleek enough to take you from a morning stretch session to a smoothie run, and because Manila heat doesn’t take breaks, it helps when your workout clothes double as everyday fits.
Beyond the Manila opening, Alo is also launching Wellness Begins with Self-Love, a campaign fronted by BTS’ Jin.
It’s a fitting collaboration—Jin, between his time in the global spotlight and his current military service, knows a thing or two about balance.
The takeaway
Alo Yoga is coming, but more than the store or the clothes, what really sticks is the reminder to slow down, breathe, and be a little kinder to ourselves.
And if that happens while wearing a really good, summer-friendly workout set? Even better.
