VMAN SEA MODEL SEARCH 2026 Kicks Off in the Philippines

VMAN Southeast Asia officially kicks off the VMAN SEA MODEL SEARCH 2026 with its first leg in the Philippines, introducing a digital-first casting initiative aimed at discovering new, unsigned Filipino male models. Through a public and structured submission process, the search expands how emerging talent is identified while opening a direct path to VMAN Southeast Asia’s editorial platform.

Selected winner(s) will be featured on the digital cover of VMAN Southeast Asia, offering a defining editorial opportunity and regional visibility across fashion and media. 

With the Philippines as its starting point, the initiative spotlights local talent while reinforcing VMAN Southeast Asia’s continued commitment to introducing the next generation of male models.

Who can join

The VMAN SEA MODEL SEARCH 2026 is open to applicants who meet all of the following requirements:

• Male models with Filipino nationality
• Unsigned and aspiring models (not currently represented by any modeling agency)
• Based in the Philippines
• Must be willing to attend a face-to-face go-see in Manila if shortlisted
• Able to submit a public entry on either TikTok or Instagram

How to join

Participants must submit a short application video by posting it on their own social media account. Submissions sent via direct messages, email, or private links will not be accepted.

Accepted platforms

Applicants may submit their entry on ONE platform only:

• TikTok OR Instagram

Entries must not be duplicated across platforms.

Video requirements

All submitted videos must follow the guidelines below.

Format

• Vertical video (9:16)
• Length: 15–30 seconds
• Camera must be steady
• Framing should be from eye level to chest
• No heavy edits

Appearance

• No filters of any kind
• No makeup (natural skin only)
• Hair must be clean and styled naturally
• No accessories (caps, sunglasses, jewelry)

Outfit

• Plain white shirt (fitted or relaxed, no logos or prints)
• Blue jeans

Introduction

The following details must be spoken on camera in English and the applicant’s native language:

• Full name
• Age
• Height
• Ethnicity

Walk and movement

• Begin by facing the camera
• Perform a simple model walk (no choreography)
• Turn, pose briefly, and return to frame

Posting instructions

To ensure entries are properly reviewed, all posts must meet the following requirements:

• Post the video on your own TikTok or Instagram account
• Keep the account public
• Tag @vmansea
• Use the official hashtag #VMANModelSearchPH
• Follow VMAN SEA on all official platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)

Acknowledgment of entries

All valid entries will be acknowledged through reposts on VMAN SEA’s official accounts:

• Entries posted on TikTok will be reposted on VMAN SEA’s official TikTok account
• Entries posted on Instagram will be reposted on VMAN SEA’s official Instagram account

Reposting serves as confirmation that the entry has been received and reviewed.

Submission period

• February 1 to February 28, 2026

Only entries posted within this period and in compliance with all guidelines will be considered.

What happens next

After the submission period, shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further screening and invited to attend a face-to-face go-see in Manila. Final winner(s) will be announced and featured on the digital cover of VMAN Southeast Asia.
